Postage Rate Notice PDF Print E-mail

Hi Everyone,

Let me relieve any tension first, by saying nothing to worry about really.

Beginning in April, Japan Post is raising their rates and that means our rates will also rise a little bit. However, they are only raising to include the slightly higher sales tax, so I highly doubt any of you will notice in the first place.

As an example, an 1800g package (7-10 video games) would have shipped SAL for ¥1900 before. From now on, that will be billed at ¥1950.

Again, not something I think many of you would notice, but did simply want to make you aware.

Our current fee structure will not be changing, as we will still strive to bring you a high value service at the best price we can.

Thank you for your continued support!

-Sam

Not sure why, but recently many people have been asking about our ability to provide codes for the JP Playstation Network, so I thought I would make a brief update here.

We can typically provide you with a code within 24 hours of payment and have, I believe, the lowest rates around.

Steelbook Forwarding from Amazon Japan PDF Print E-mail
Written by Sam
Wednesday, 17 July 2013 01:26

While I have done any type of forwarding up until now, steelbooks have recently started to boom as forwarded items.

I have received some specific questions as to what services are or are not provided, so I thought I would give a brief outline here.

When ordering specifically from Amazon Japan, as always, there are no order fees as you are the one doing all the work.

The only fees will be the forwarding fee and shipping fee.

Forwarding Fee (Can be found here and is based on the final total value of items to be forwarded.)

  • Visual inspection of items to ensure no damage (obviously cannot check under jcards on sealed items)
  • Consolidation of multiple packages into one if necessary
  • Repackaging of items safely and securely in bubblewrap and a box

Shipping Fee (Information can be found here.)
  • All applicable options will be given barring cost inefficient options
  • Can mark as gift and be customs friendly within reason

Typically, most people save between $8-12 per steelbook, but those savings can be even higher for those used to paying ridiculously high customs fees.

Please do feel free to order some JP steelbooks through us. I'm a collector myself, so I understand the needs of fellow collectors!

Can you find ______ for me?

It's quite possible! I do my best to fulfill all requests, even for the hard to find and rare items. Please visit the Services page for more information on how the process works. I should note that I will actively search for your item for 7 days. After that, it will be added to my special list and may be found during one of my many shopping trips. I will keep requested items on the list for a maximum of 30 days. After that, I would suggest keeping an eye on things yourself via Yahoo! Auctions for example. If you happen to see it come up somewhere down the line, you can always make a bid request.

Can I see your inventory status?

Not anymore! While there used to be an actual shop, the majority of the business coming my way was in the form of requests. Due to that, I decided to focus more on that end of things and the products page now takes you directly to Amazon Japan which can fulfill many of your requests very easily. Please visit the Services link at the top of the page for more information on how you can order directly from Amazon Japan.
