For the past few years, I have skipped going with my wife and kids to visit her family during their summer vacation. But, this year, I was informed I MUST go! 

So, we will have some down time with no services happening at all. This means, if your packages are coming, NO WORRIES! We will be able to pick them up when we return. 

But, no shipping will happen, no bids will be placed, and no purchases will be made by us. We will also NOT be updating the site during this time, so if you submit a request, it will have to wait until we get back as well. Of course, if you purchase something yourself, the same applies - we will pick up your packages when we return and get them out to you. Just don't panic when you don't see any update to your request after having something shipped here.

For those of you using our auction bidding service, the days we will be gone will be extended onto the end of your service time.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to message us.


August 5th through August 9th minimum. Depending on the return situation, it could stretch as long as the 10th with no updates.

Deleted all of the prior stuff about the rogue registrations and random other things bogging the site down.

The fact is, no matter what, since we switched hosting, the site has been slow and buggy.

On top of that, some notification emails just seem to never go out be they registration info, request updates, or even system updates that should come to us.

So.... If you have ANY ISSUES AT ALL WITH REGISTERING YOUR ACCOUNT, please email us directly via hotmail.com at dv8cag. (Reverse those, you know the drill -- Whooo! Anti-spam!)

Hi Everyone, 

It's been a long time coming. I sincerely apologize for making so many of you wait so long, but I really needed to take a long, hard look at how we were doing things.

#1 - I wanted to get a look at other services out there and ensure that we were still the best price. I think we have succeeded in that!

#2 - I needed to make sure that the auction plan would be self-sustaining and not have to be shutdown again.

As many of you know, the previous issue we had was the "honor system". There were, unfortunately, a few users (no one with an active account any longer!) that had requested bids, promised payment and then left us hanging with a bill to pay and items we didn't need.

While the new system leaves the onus on you to get money to us before any bidding can take place may be a little more frustrating for you, in the end, it will be something that keeps these issues from ever occurring again and we can continue to provide you great service!

How can I cancel my order?

Contact us as soon as possible with any order changes. Just like on CAG, once something has gone through, I would expect you to keep up your end of the deal. But, I will do what I can to understand your situation and look into canceling.

Upfront fees will not be returned, but the cost of the items will.

If an item has already been shipped to you, I will expect you to return it to me, at your cost, in the same condition and, upon verification, I will process your refund.

Yahoo! Auctions are quite a different story. I cannot cancel a bid I have made so, in that case, neither can you. All we can do is hope that you are outbid on the item. In the event that you are not, depending on the item, condition and auction price, we may be able to work out a deal where a partial refund is given. This will be case-by-case as I will have to decide if it is an item I will be able to "unload" or if I will be stuck with it for a long period of time.

Canceling an order will put you on "probation" and canceling another order will lose your ordering privileges on this site. Please do your best to ensure that you really want what you ask for.

Why is the site available only to CAG members?

While this used to be the case, since the system itself has been improved which, subsequently, made the job a bit easier for me, the site has been opened to everyone. However, I like the option of falling back on the CAG forums to communicate with people and to resolve any issues quickly in the event of a site issue, so joining Cheapassgamer is still highly recommended. I'm sure you would all like that much better than having to foot the bill for international calls!
